The goal when designing this piece was to create a dresser with a modern feel while using and showing traditional joinery methods. Leaving the sides open allows you to see how the dresser is built and how the drawers function. We left a larger space between the drawers to help give it that open/light feel and this intern acts as a handhold for opening the drawers. The drawers are built using finger joint construction so you get the subtle contrast of the end grain against the face grain of the walnut. The case itself is made with through tenons and a 3 way bridle joint on the top corners. Items are made to order can can take 12-14 weeks to ship currently.

Finished with a hand applied oil finish to provide exceptional durability and ease of maintenance
